Welcome to the world of the "I Ching."
The "I Ching Cards" set consists of 64 cards featuring abstract line drawings, each corresponding to one of the 64 famous hexagrams from the "I Ching."
The "I Ching" is an ancient text of traditional wisdom from the Orient, dating back thousands of years. Ancient Chinese believed that the "I Ching" could be used to interpret the present and even predict the future. Therefore, it is also known as the "Book of Changes."
I Ching Cards
The "I Ching Cards" set includes 64 black-and-white abstract line art cards, corresponding to the 64 hexagrams of the "I Ching." These simple designs are used to interpret the present and predict the future. The deck comes with instruction booklets in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, introducing two methods: "Quick Divination" and "Nine Grid Divination." Designer Li Zong, along with design teams from Beijing, Tokyo, and London, completed the project over the course of a year.

Original design
Minimalist design is the most difficult and complex design. In the design of the "I Ching Card", we not only use abstract black and white lines that are simple to the extreme - just like the "Six Yao" which is composed of the simplest lines - but also contain "mathematical logic" that conforms to the hexagram principles of the "I Ching" on each card surface.
*For example, this "Wind and Fire Family Member" contains the first day "5" of the upper hexagram "Xun" and the first day "3" of the lower hexagram "Li" in its abstract composition.
You can use the "I Ching Cards" in a very flexible manner. The card guidebook, available in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, introduces two methods for arranging and interpreting the card spreads: the "Quick Divination" and the "Nine Palace Grid Divination." Of course, if you are already familiar with the "I Ching," you might also create your own unique card spreads and interpretation methods. After all, the 64 hexagrams of the "I Ching" possess universal and common principles.
Methods
Method 1
Quick Divination
· Mix the cards.
· Draw the first card which represents "present".
· Draw the second card, which represents "future".
· Explain "present" and "future" by referring to the cards。
Method 2
Magic Square Divination
· Mix the cards.
· Draw 9 cards in succession.
· According to the order of the pictures of the nine palaces, fill the nine cards with the array of cards.
· Explain "self," "career," "love" and "wealth" by referring to the cards.
